Urgent locum opportunity for a Pathologist in Orangeburg, SC, covering May 8 – May 24, 2026 (~2+ weeks) with additional ongoing opportunities through 2026. This high-paying assignment includes weekday coverage with clearly scheduled 24-hour weekend call. Ideal for pathologists experienced in grossing and surgical pathology.
Job Responsibilities
• Review biopsies and cancer resections
• Handle clinical pathology tasks including blood smear reviews
• Manage routine pathology cases (no autopsies or cytology)
• Provide scheduled 24-hour weekend call coverage
Qualifications
• Fellowship trained (required)
• Active South Carolina license or FCVS
• Strong gross pathology experience required
Working Hours
• 24-Hour Call: May 9–10, May 16–17, May 23–24, 2026 | 7:30 AM – 7:30 AM
