Urgent, top-paying locum opportunity for a Pathologist in Orangeburg, SC, covering May 8 – May 24, 2026 (~2+ weeks) with additional ongoing opportunities through 2026. This role involves a mix of anatomic and clinical pathology in a supportive hospital setting, with weekday coverage and weekend call. Ideal for candidates experienced in gross pathology and routine specimen sign-out.
Job Responsibilities
• Interpret routine biopsies and cancer resections
• Conduct clinical pathology duties including blood smear reviews
• Handle routine pathology cases (no autopsies or cytology)
• Provide weekend call coverage as scheduled
Qualifications
• Fellowship trained (required)
• Active South Carolina license or FCVS
• Strong gross pathology experience required
Working Hours
• Weekend Call: Saturdays & Sundays during assignment (May 8–24, 2026)
• No weekday call
