Join a Leading Integrated Health System in Upstate New York
- We are seeking two board-eligible or board-certified (preferred) General Surgical Pathologists to join a collaborative, experienced team. One position is available at a major regional teaching hospital, and the other at a community-focused acute care hospital.
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (preferred)
- Fellowship training preferred in one of the following: oncologic pathology, cytopathology, head & neck pathology, gynecologic pathology, pulmonary/thoracic pathology, or another surgical pathology subspecialty
- Strong commitment to diagnostic excellence, teamwork, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Join a multispecialty group of 24 pathologists providing services across a six-hospital comprehensive healthcare system
- Engage with a challenging and diverse case mix, including 80,000+ surgical pathology cases annually
- No adult autopsy duties (interest in fetal autopsy welcomed)
- Collaborate with colleagues from the regional Academic Comprehensive Cancer Program, accredited by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer
- Contribute to a growing Acute Leukemia & Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program and partner with the Mary M. Gooley Hemophilia Center
- Opportunities to share in laboratory directorship responsibilities across a network of regional acute care laboratories
- Participate in teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students, with academic appointment opportunities and involvement in one of the nation’s oldest NAACLS-accredited medical technologist training programs
- Starting salary: $320,000+
