Position Overview
NorTek Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Interventional Pain Physician to join an established outpatient pain management practice with an existing patient population, referral network, and clinical support infrastructure.
This opportunity is ideal for a physician who enjoys performing interventional procedures, managing complex pain conditions, and providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting.
With approximately 25–30 patients per day and an established referral base, the incoming physician can focus on clinical care and procedural treatment rather than building a practice from scratch.

Evaluate and treat patients with chronic pain, spine conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders.
Review medical histories, diagnostic imaging, and clinical findings to develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform interventional pain procedures within the physician's training, experience, and approved privileges.
Provide follow-up care, medication management, patient education, and appropriate referrals.
Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and manage an active patient schedule.
Procedural Experience
Depending on the practice location, available resources, and physician qualifications, procedures may include:
Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections
Facet joint injections and medial branch blocks
Radiofrequency ablation
Sacroiliac joint injections
Large and small joint injections
Spinal cord stimulation procedures
Other minimally invasive interventional pain procedures
Candidates should be prepared to discuss their recent procedural experience, technical proficiency, and typical case volume during the interview process.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board certified or board eligible in a specialty accepted by the selected practice.
Completed fellowship training in a related specialty, such as Pain Medicine, PM&R, Neurology, or Anesthesiology.
Demonstrated experience evaluating and treating patients in an interventional pain setting.
Ability to manage approximately 25–30 patients per day while maintaining appropriate standards of care and documentation.
Required state medical license and DEA registration before commencing clinical services.
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a collaborative approach to patient care.
Physicians pursuing state licensure may be considered. Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) candidates may also be considered, subject to individual licensing requirements.
Working Hours
Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule.
Established outpatient practice and referral network.
Approximately 25–30 patients per day.
Base salary plus productivity-based incentives.
Compensation structure varies by location and may include specific incentive percentages, collections thresholds, and productivity targets.
The applicable compensation plan, clinic hours, call expectations, procedural resources, and staffing arrangements will be reviewed with qualified candidates.
Benefits
Reported benefits include:
Healthcare coverage
Dental and vision insurance
401(k)
160 hours of paid time off (PTO)
