This is an excellent opportunity for a fellowship-trained physician seeking an established practice environment with an existing patient population, strong referral relationships, consistent procedural volume, and experienced clinical support.
Position Highlights
- Full-time | Monday–Friday
- Established outpatient pain management practice
- Approximately 25–30 patients per day
- Established patient panel and referral network
- Mix of new patient evaluations, follow-ups, and interventional procedures
- Experienced physicians, APPs, and clinical support staff
- Productivity-based compensation in addition to base salary
- Multiple geographic options available
- Preferred start: January 2027
Job Responsibilities
The physician will evaluate and treat patients with chronic pain, spine conditions, and related musculoskeletal disorders.
Responsibilities include:
Comprehensive patient evaluations and review of imaging and diagnostic findings
Development of individualized pain management plans
Medication management when appropriate
Performance of interventional pain procedures within demonstrated expertise and privileges
Monitoring treatment response and adjusting care plans
Patient education regarding treatment options, risks, and expected outcomes
Collaboration with physicians, APPs, and clinical support staff
Timely and accurate clinical documentation
Qualifications
Depending on the practice location, privileges, resources, and physician experience, the procedural scope may include:
Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections
Facet injections
Medial branch blocks
Radiofrequency ablation
Sacroiliac joint injections
Large and small joint injections
Spinal cord stimulation procedures
Other minimally invasive interventional pain procedures
Recent procedural volume and technical proficiency will be reviewed during the interview process.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board eligible or board certified in an accepted specialty
Completed fellowship training in a related specialty
Fellowship training in Pain Medicine, PM&R, Neurology, or Anesthesiology may qualify
Demonstrated experience in an interventional pain setting
Ability to manage approximately 25+ patients per day
Required state medical license and DEA registration before starting clinical services
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Collaborative approach to patient care
Physicians currently pursuing state licensure may be considered. IMLC candidates may also be considered, with licensing situations reviewed individually.

Benefits, compensation, and employment terms are subject to the applicable practice agreement and will be confirmed for the selected location.
Credentialing & Start Date
Preferred Start Date: January 2027
Credentialing generally takes approximately 45–60 days, depending on work history and timely completion of required documentation.
