Job description
This is an opportunity to join an established clinical environment with an existing patient population, referral network, procedural volume, and experienced clinical support team. The incoming physician can focus on patient care and interventional pain management without needing to build a practice from the ground up.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule
- Established outpatient pain management practice
- Approximately 25–30 patients per day
- Existing patient population and referral network
- Balanced mix of new patient evaluations, follow-ups, and interventional procedures
- Experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff
- Active procedural practice with established clinical infrastructure
- Base compensation plus productivity-based incentive

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
Performing comprehensive patient evaluations
Reviewing medical histories, imaging, and diagnostic findings
Developing individualized treatment plans
Performing interventional procedures within the physician's training, experience, and privileges
Managing medication and rehabilitation plans when appropriate
Monitoring treatment response and adjusting care plans
Educating patients regarding treatment options, risks, and expected outcomes
Collaborating with physicians, APPs, and clinical support staff
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
Managing an active patient schedule while maintaining quality standards
Procedural Experience
Depending on physician experience, privileges, and available resources, the procedural scope may include:
Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections
Facet joint injections
Medial branch blocks
Radiofrequency ablation
Sacroiliac joint injections
Large and small joint injections
Spinal cord stimulation procedures
Other minimally invasive interventional pain procedures
The clinical team will review the physician's recent procedural volume, technical proficiency, and experience with advanced interventional pain cases during the interview process.
Qualifications
Board eligible or board certified in a specialty accepted by the practice
Completed fellowship training in a related specialty
Fellowship background in Pain Medicine, PM&R, Neurology, or Anesthesiology preferred
Demonstrated experience in an interventional pain setting
Ability to manage approximately 25+ patients per day
Required New Jersey medical license and DEA registration before beginning clinical services
Physicians currently pursuing New Jersey licensure may be considered
IMLC candidates may be considered depending on licensing circumstances
Strong communication, clinical judgment, and collaboration skills
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation includes a base salary plus productivity-based incentive, with the specific structure determined by the applicable employment agreement.

Credentialing & Start Timeline
The preferred start date is January 2027, ideally early January and before February.
Credentialing typically takes approximately 45–60 days, depending on the physician's work history and timely completion of required documentation.
