An established outpatient pain management practice is seeking an experienced Interventional Pain Physician to join its clinical team. This is a full-time opportunity for a physician who enjoys combining comprehensive pain evaluation, procedural expertise, and patient-centered care.

With an established patient population, referral network, and clinical infrastructure already in place, the incoming physician can focus on patient care and interventional pain management rather than building a practice from scratch.

The Opportunity

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule
  • Established outpatient pain management setting
  • Approximately 25–30 patients per day
  • Mix of new patient evaluations, follow-ups, medication management, and interventional procedures
  • Established referral network and patient population
  • Experienced physicians, APPs, and clinical support staff
  • Active procedural environment with established clinical resources
  • Base salary plus productivity-based compensation
  • Multiple geographic opportunities across Florida, Arizona, New Jersey, and Georgia
  • Target start date: January 2027

Job Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

The physician will:

Evaluate and treat patients with chronic pain, spine conditions, and related musculoskeletal disorders
Review medical histories, imaging, and diagnostic findings
Develop individualized treatment plans
Perform interventional procedures within demonstrated expertise and approved privileges
Provide appropriate medication management, rehabilitation recommendations, and referrals
Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans as appropriate
Educate patients regarding treatment options, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinical support staff
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Manage an active patient schedule while maintaining appropriate standards of care

Qualifications

rocedural Experience

Depending on location, privileges, resources, and physician experience, procedures may include:

Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections
Facet joint injections
Medial branch blocks
Radiofrequency ablation
Sacroiliac joint injections
Large and small joint injections
Spinal cord stimulation procedures
Other minimally invasive interventional pain procedures

The clinical team will review the physician's recent procedural volume, technical proficiency, and experience with advanced interventional pain cases during the interview process.

Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board eligible or board certified in an accepted specialty
Completed fellowship training in a related specialty
Fellowship backgrounds may include:
Pain Medicine
Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Neurology
Anesthesiology
Demonstrated experience in an interventional pain setting
Ability to personally manage approximately 25+ patients per day
Required state medical license and DEA registration before beginning clinical services
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Sound clinical judgment and collaborative approach

Physicians currently pursuing state licensure may be considered. Candidates using the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact pathway may also be considered, with individual licensing situations reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Compensation includes a base salary plus productivity component, with the exact structure varying by location.

Specific compensation, benefits, eligibility requirements, and employment terms will be confirmed for the selected practice location.

Credentialing & Start Date

The preferred start date is January 2027, ideally early January and before February.

Credentialing generally takes approximately 45–60 days, depending on work history and timely completion of required documentation.
