Interventional Pain Physician

Florida, Arizona, and New Jersey Opportunities
Full Time | Onsite | Monday Through Friday

Established Patient Volume | Experienced Clinical Support | Procedural Focus

NorTek Medical Staffing is partnering with Symphony Care Alliance to recruit physicians for established outpatient interventional pain practices. These opportunities offer an existing patient base, strong referral relationships, and clinical infrastructure that allows incoming physicians to begin treating patients without building a practice from scratch.

Available Locations

  • Florida: Jacksonville, including Hodges and Dunn Avenue, Jensen Beach, and Fort Pierce.

  • Arizona: Glendale / West Valley Phoenix.

  • New Jersey: Whiting, Brick, and Toms River, Hooper location.

Florida Compensation

The Florida opportunity offers a $350,000 base salary plus 40% of physician net collections above the applicable threshold.

For a $350,000 base salary, the annual collections threshold is $875,000. The physician receives 40% of net collections exceeding that threshold, in addition to the base salary.

For illustration, $1,250,000 in annual net collections would produce a $150,000 incentive above the threshold, for total annual compensation of $500,000 under this formula.

Actual earnings depend on net collections and the employment agreement. Arizona and New Jersey compensation will be discussed separately.

Practice Highlights

  • Established patient demand and referral relationships.

  • Full time, Monday through Friday schedule.

  • Outpatient clinical and procedural practice.

  • Approximately 25 to 30 patients daily.

  • Dedicated NP, PA, MA, and experienced procedural support.

  • Opportunity to focus on interventional treatments and continuity of care.

  • Florida materials describe no nights, weekends, holidays, or call, with no hospital rounding.

  • eClinicalWorks is identified in the Florida practice materials.

Exact hours, call expectations, support staffing, and workflow will be reviewed for the selected location.

Your Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients with spine conditions, chronic pain, and related musculoskeletal concerns.

  • Review medical histories, examinations, imaging, and diagnostic findings to guide treatment.

  • Develop individualized care plans incorporating appropriate interventions, medication management, rehabilitation, and referrals.

  • Perform interventional procedures independently within demonstrated competency and approved privileges.

  • Monitor outcomes and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response.

  • Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and expected recovery.

  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff.

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and an efficient patient schedule.

  • Deliver compassionate care grounded in sound clinical judgment.

Procedural Opportunities

Depending on the location and physician’s experience, the procedural scope may include:

  • Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections.

  • Facet joint injections and medial branch blocks.

  • Radiofrequency ablation.

  • Sacroiliac joint injections.

  • Large and small joint injections.

  • Spinal cord stimulation procedures.

  • Other minimally invasive interventional pain procedures.

The clinical team will review procedural experience, recent case volume, and any location specific requirements during screening.

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

  • Board eligibility or board certification in a specialty accepted by the practice.

  • Completed related fellowship training. The client accepts qualifying fellowship backgrounds in Pain Medicine, PM&R, Neurology, or Anesthesia, subject to review of the specific program.

  • A separate Interventional Pain fellowship is not the only accepted pathway. Residency training alone should not be represented as completed fellowship training.

  • Strong clinical experience evaluating and treating chronic pain and spine conditions.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in core interventional pain procedures.

  • Ability to independently manage at least 25 patients daily.

  • Appropriate state medical license and active DEA registration before providing clinical services.

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Licensing and Start Timeline

Physicians pursuing licensure through the IMLC are welcome for consideration, provided the required state license is obtained before starting. Candidates obtaining licensure outside the compact may also be considered individually based on a workable licensing timeline.

The preferred start is the first week of January 2027, with some flexibility into mid January. Candidates must be able to start before February 2027.

Credentialing typically takes 45 to 60 days, depending on work history, documentation, and the review process. Candidates should account for credentialing, licensing, and any required notice when discussing availability.

Benefits and Professional Support

The client has identified:

  • 160 hours of paid time off.

  • Health, dental, and vision coverage.

  • 401(k).

  • CME support.

  • Malpractice and tail coverage.

  • Additional benefits to be reviewed during the hiring process.

Specific eligibility, coverage, and allowances will be outlined in the employment package. Relocation assistance and signing bonuses are not standard advertised benefits. Exceptional circumstances may be considered individually. License reimbursement is not currently standard.

Hiring Process

The interview process typically takes approximately one week, followed by an offer when there is a mutual fit. Credentialing and onboarding follow their own timeline.

Candidates will complete an initial background and procedure review, followed by a more detailed clinical discussion with the client.
