We are seeking a Pain Management / Interventional Pain Physician to join a well-established, high-volume outpatient pain management practice in the West Valley of Phoenix, Arizona.

The practice offers an established patient base, strong referral network, experienced clinical support, and significant procedural volume. This opportunity is well suited for a physician who wants to focus on interventional pain procedures, maintain a productive practice, and enjoy a predictable Monday–Friday schedule without nights, weekends, holidays, or call responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose patients with acute, chronic, and spine-related pain conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history, examination, diagnostic findings, and clinical needs.
Perform a high volume of interventional pain procedures, including:
Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections
Facet joint injections
Medial branch blocks
Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
Large and small joint injections
Spinal cord stimulator procedures
Other appropriate minimally invasive pain management procedures
Manage patients with spine and chronic pain conditions through comprehensive outpatient care.
Review diagnostic studies and incorporate findings into treatment planning.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with dedicated NP/PA/MA staff and the experienced procedural support team.
Coordinate patient care with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain compliance with applicable clinical, regulatory, and patient-safety standards.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining strong clinical and professional standards.
Stay current with advances in interventional pain management technologies, procedures, and treatment protocols.
Maintain an efficient clinical workflow while supporting a productive outpatient procedural practice.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, or PM&R
Active medical license in the applicable state
Active DEA license
Strong experience performing interventional pain procedures
Experience evaluating and treating spine and chronic pain conditions
Strong clinical judgment and patient-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and other clinical staff

Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Knowledge of current pain management technologies, procedures, and treatment protocols

Working Hours

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Practice & Patient Volume:
This position combines interventional procedures with outpatient pain management in an efficient, physician-supported environment.

Patient Volume: Approximately 20–30 patients per day
Practice Setting: 100% outpatient pain management
Clinical Support: Dedicated NP/PA/MA and experienced procedural team
EMR: eClinicalWorks
Established referral network and patient base
Strong procedural infrastructure
