Job description
Our confidential client is seeking an Interventional Pain Physician to join a well-established outpatient pain management practice in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
This opportunity offers an established patient base, strong referral network, experienced clinical support, and significant procedural volume. The physician will have the opportunity to focus on outpatient pain management and interventional procedures within a physician-supported environment.
The practice provides a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays, or call responsibilities.
This position is available as a Locum Tenens opportunity with potential for long-term or permanent placement.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluating and treating patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
Performing interventional pain procedures
Developing individualized treatment plans
Managing spine-related and musculoskeletal pain conditions
Providing outpatient pain management care
Collaborating with advanced practice providers and clinical support staff
Maintaining accurate medical documentation
Providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management
Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
Pain Management
Anesthesiology
Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Active state medical license
Active DEA license
Strong experience performing interventional pain procedures
Experience managing spine and chronic pain conditions
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Preferred:
Experience in high-volume outpatient pain practices
Ability to work collaboratively with APPs and clinical teams

Full-time outpatient schedule
