Position Summary
The Veterans Affairs facility in Lebanon, PA is seeking a qualified Pain Management Physician to provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Develop individualized pain management treatment plans.
- Provide medication management and non-surgical pain treatment services.
- Perform appropriate pain management procedures within approved clinical privileges.
- Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as needed.
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients regarding pain management options and treatment expectations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Follow all VA clinical, safety, and quality standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management/Pain Medicine.
- Current BLS and ACLS.
- Active DEA registration and NPI.
- Relevant clinical experience in evaluating and treating acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Ability to meet all VA credentialing and privileging requirements.
