Job description
A growing outpatient pain management practice is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician to join its established team in the Augusta Metro Area.
This opportunity offers an established patient base, strong referral relationships, high procedural volume, and a productivity-based compensation model with substantial earning potential.
The position is primarily outpatient and clinic-based, with no hospital call requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and treat acute and chronic pain conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Utilize interventional and medication-based therapies
- Perform epidural steroid injections
- Perform facet injections and medial branch blocks
- Perform radiofrequency ablation
- Perform joint injections
- Perform SCS trials when qualified/preferred
- Collaborate with NP/PAs
- Maintain compliant EMR documentation
- Participate in expansion of procedural services

Job Responsibilities
Perform interventional pain procedures
Provide appropriate medication management
Develop individualized treatment plans
Monitor patient response and outcomes
Collaborate with NP/PAs
Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Support strategic growth of procedural services
Qualifications
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
Anesthesiology, PM&R, Neurology, or related specialty
Interventional Pain fellowship strongly preferred
Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain
Active DEA license or ability to obtain immediately
1+ year of relevant experience
Strong procedural skill set
Must be comfortable prescribing controlled pain medications
Commitment to ethical, patient-centered pain care
