Job description
A growing outpatient pain management practice is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician to join its established team in the Memphis Metro Area.
This is an opportunity to step into an established patient base, strong referral relationships, and high procedural volume, with significant earning potential for productive physicians.
The role is primarily outpatient and clinic-based, with no hospital call requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans using interventional and medication-based therapies
- Perform interventional pain procedures, including:
- Epidural steroid injections
- Facet injections and medial branch blocks
- Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
- Joint injections
- Spinal cord stimulator (SCS) trials preferred
- Collaborate with and oversee NP/PA providers within the practice
- Maintain thorough and compliant EMR documentation
- Contribute to the continued growth of procedural service lines

Job Responsibilities
Perform office-based interventional procedures
Manage medication-based treatment when clinically appropriate
Develop individualized treatment plans
Monitor patient outcomes and treatment response
Collaborate with advanced practice providers
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Support growth of the practice's procedural services
Qualifications
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
Anesthesiology, PM&R, Neurology, or related specialty
Interventional Pain Management fellowship strongly preferred
Active Tennessee medical license or ability to obtain quickly
Active DEA license or ability to obtain immediately
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Strong procedural skill set
Comfortable prescribing controlled pain medications when clinically appropriate
Commitment to ethical, patient-centered pain care
