A growing outpatient specialty practice is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician to join its expanding team in Tomball, Texas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a fellowship-trained physician who enjoys combining advanced procedural expertise with personalized patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic pain conditions while utilizing minimally invasive, evidence-based interventions designed to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
The practice offers a collaborative environment with dedicated clinical support, modern procedural capabilities, and a strong focus on comprehensive pain management.
Job Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based interventional pain management services.
Perform advanced procedures including:
Epidural steroid injections
Facet joint injections
Medial branch blocks
Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
Sacroiliac (SI) joint injections
Peripheral nerve blocks
Spinal cord stimulator trials and implants
Fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures
Manage medications according to state and federal guidelines.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the EMR system.
Collaborate with referring providers and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Educate patients regarding treatment options, expectations, and long-term pain management strategies.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory standards.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine.
Active Texas medical license or eligibility.
Active DEA registration with controlled substance prescribing authority.
Strong procedural skills with fluoroscopy-guided interventions.
Excellent communication and patient-care abilities.
Preferred:
Previous experience in an outpatient interventional pain practice.
Background in:
Anesthesiology
Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
Neurology
Related procedural specialties
Experience utilizing EMR systems.
Ability to develop strong patient and referral relationships.
