We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician to join a collaborative clinical team in the Houston metropolitan area. This opportunity is ideal for a fellowship-trained physician who enjoys procedural medicine, patient-centered care, and building long-term relationships within the community.
The physician will evaluate and treat a broad range of pain conditions while utilizing advanced minimally invasive interventions designed to improve patient outcomes and reduce reliance on opioid-based therapies.
The practice offers a modern outpatient environment with dedicated procedural capabilities, supportive clinical staff, and a focus on high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities
Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based pain management approaches.
Perform advanced interventional pain procedures, including:
Epidural steroid injections
Facet joint injections
Medial branch blocks
Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
Sacroiliac (SI) joint injections
Peripheral nerve blocks
Spinal cord stimulator (SCS) trials and implants
Fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures
Manage medications according to state and federal regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine.
Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain.
Active DEA registration with controlled substance prescribing authority.
Strong procedural skills with fluoroscopy-guided interventions.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday
Outpatient clinic schedule
No hospital call responsibilities (if applicable)
Dedicated procedural time available
