Clinical Responsibilities:
The Interventional Pain Physician will:
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic pain conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based approaches.
Perform interventional pain procedures, including:
Epidural steroid injections
Facet interventions
Radiofrequency procedures
Peripheral and central neuromodulation
Spinal cord stimulation
MILD procedure
Intracept procedure
SI joint procedures
Vertebroplasty
Other advanced minimally invasive procedures
Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including MRI, CT, and nerve conduction testing.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term pain management strategies.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize pain relief and functional improvement.
Collaborate with:
Advanced practice providers
Chiropractors
Physical therapists
Other physicians and healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
Remain current with advances in interventional pain medicine through continuing education and professional development.
Practice according to ethical, regulatory, and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
Required:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine.
Completion of an accredited Pain Medicine fellowship.
Eligible for medical licensure in Client.
Active DEA registration.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.
Preferred:
Strong procedural background in interventional pain management.
Experience with minimally invasive spine procedures and neuromodulation.
Interest in complex pain cases and advanced treatment strategies.
Commitment to patient-centered, outcomes-driven care.
