Healthcare United is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician to join an established orthopedic practice in Gainesville, Florida.
This opportunity is ideal for a physician with strong interventional pain training who is interested in joining a well-established musculoskeletal group with a broad referral base, strong clinical infrastructure, and access to a full orthopedic continuum of care.
The incoming physician will focus on outpatient interventional pain management while working alongside orthopedic surgeons, spine specialists, sports medicine physicians, trauma specialists, and other musculoskeletal providers.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
Perform image-guided spine and joint injections
Perform nerve blocks and other interventional pain procedures
Develop treatment plans focused on improving patient function and quality of life
Collaborate with orthopedic, spine, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal specialists
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or related specialty
Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management preferred
Experience performing image-guided spine and joint injections
Experience with nerve blocks and other interventional pain procedures
Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to start
Strong clinical, procedural, and communication skills
