Job description • We are seeking an experienced Interventional Pain Management Physician for a locums opportunity at a Spine and Pain Center in Canandaigua, NY.
• This role is primarily outpatient with additional coverage in an ambulatory OR setting in Clifton Springs.
• The provider will perform a wide range of interventional pain procedures in a collaborative clinical environment.
• Ideal for physicians seeking consistent weekday hours with minimal call responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pain management consultations and treatment.
• Perform interventional procedures including epidural steroid injections (ESI), medial branch blocks (MBB), and radiofrequency ablation (RFA).
• Administer nerve blocks, trigger point injections, sacroiliac joint injections, and piriformis injections.
• Conduct spinal cord stimulator trials and genicular procedures.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Fellowship-trained in Pain Management (ACGME accreditation not required).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management.
• Minimum 1–2 years post-fellowship experience required.
• Active New York State License required.
• BLS certification required.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Office call only (after hours and weekends)
• Outpatient schedule with occasional OR coverage at Clifton Springs
