Position Overview
An established Interventional Pain Management practice in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Pain Physician to join its growing multidisciplinary team. This opportunity offers strong patient demand, dedicated procedure days, and access to an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) to support high procedural volume.

Practice Highlights
• Established patient base with strong referral relationships
• Dedicated procedure days in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)

• Spinal cord stimulation
• Intrathecal pain pumps
• Experienced NP/PA and clinical support staff

Clinical Responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating interventional and medication-based therapies
• Perform procedures including but not limited to:
• Epidural steroid injections
• Facet joint injections
• Medial branch blocks
• Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
• Joint injections
• Spinal cord stimulator trials and implants
• Intrathecal pump placement and management
• Coordinate care with referring providers and specialists
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the EMR system
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary collaboration
Schedule
• Monday – Friday
• Dedicated procedure days and clinic days
• Minimal call requirement (approximately 1:4–1:6)

Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
• Pain Medicine
• Anesthesiology
• Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
• Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management
• Eligible for Florida medical license
• Strong procedural skillset in interventional pain therapies
• Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative practice
Skills & Experience Preferred
• Experience performing advanced interventional procedures
• Familiarity with neuromodulation therapies
• Ability to manage complex chronic pain patients
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Manage common conditions including:
• Diabetes
• Hypertension
• Cardiovascular disease
• Respiratory illness
• Preventive and wellness care
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory studies
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Perform minor procedures when appropriate
• Provide patient education regarding disease management and prevention

• Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
Qualifications
• Active Idaho medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Current BLS certification upon hire
• Ability to obtain ACLS certification within six months
