Position Overview

The Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient pain management care, including new consultations, follow-up visits, and a wide range of interventional procedures. The focus of this role is to improve patients’ quality of life through personalized, accessible treatment plans while contributing to the growth and development of the practice.

Providers can expect to see an average of 24+ patients per day.

An established and growing interventional pain practice is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Physician to join its outpatient team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a high-demand market with strong patient volume, long-term stability, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in a rural community where patients often travel 1–2 hours for care

Job Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities
Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits.
Interpret and explain diagnostic imaging (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs) and test results.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
Perform interventional pain procedures, including but not limited to:
Medial branch blocks
Facet joint injections
Sacroiliac joint injections
Epidural steroid injections
Nerve blocks
Discography
Peripheral nerve stimulation
Spinal cord stimulation
Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty
Prolotherapy
Disc regenerative therapy
Peripheral joint injections
Trigger point injections
Manage complex cases such as degenerative disc disease and failed back surgery syndrome.
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Support practice growth through community engagement and professional excellence.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pain Management.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (preferred), or
Anesthesiology (preferred), or
Neurology with additional pain management experience.
Active and unrestricted state medical license (or ability to obtain).
DEA registration.
Strong knowledge of EMR systems (experience with Centricity or Modernizing Medicine preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Working Hours

Schedule
Monday–Friday
Flexible start times (7:30 AM or 9:00 AM)
No 4x10 schedule option
