Pain Management Physician opening in Erie, PA 127 miles from Pittsburgh; 100 miles from Cleveland, OH ## Position Details * Full-time, permanent hospital-employed position * Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM * Accepts H1B visa candidates * Pennsylvania license not required at application (must obtain prior to start) ## Practice Overview Join a growing interventional pain medicine team: * Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of chronic pain syndromes * Outpatient office visits and procedures at surgery center and regional clinics * Multidisciplinary approach with collaboration across primary care network * Full spectrum of interventional procedures including: * Caudal nerve blocks, cervical/thoracic/lumbar epidurals, facet joint injections * Genicular nerve blocks and ablation, medial branch blocks, intercostal nerve blocks * Occipital nerve blocks, trigeminal nerve blocks, trigger point injections * Shoulder, knee, hip injections, sympathetic blocks * Radiofrequency ablation, PRP, prolotherapy, regenerative injection therapies ## Compensation & Incentives * Competitive base salary with opportunity for productivity incentives * Sign-on bonus: $25,000 * CME funds available * Generous PTO and CME days ## Benefits Package * Non-Profit Health System, Employed Model – PSLF eligible * Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance * Employer-paid short- and long-term disability coverage * Group life insurance * Paid Parental Leave * Tuition assistance for self, spouse/domestic partner, and dependents * Paid occurrence-based malpractice insurance * 403(b) retirement plan with 50% employer match plus employer-paid pension plan * Relocation assistance for customary and reasonable moving expenses ## Required Qualifications * MD/DO from an accredited medical school * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine * Completion of ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine fellowship * Ability to obtain unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license * DEA certification * Commitment to patient-centered care and excellent interpersonal skills ## Community – Erie, Pennsylvania * Affordable cost of living with high-quality schools and family-friendly amenities * Outdoor recreation at Presque Isle State Park: beaches, hiking, biking, boating, fishing, birdwatching * Cultural attractions: Erie Philharmonic, Erie Art Museum, Warner Theatre, and local festivals * Reputable universities: Penn State Behrend, Gannon University, Mercyhurst University * Four-season activities: skiing, snowboarding, boating, golfing * Convenient access to Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and Erie International Airport
