Assignment Details
Dates: December 1, 2026–June 1, 2027; start subject to credentialing
Schedule: Clinical hours listed as Friday–Sunday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; recurring block structure pending clarification
Full stretches of confirmed coverage dates required; partial blocks not accepted
Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours plus night/weekend beeper call
Call: Friday–Sunday coverage listed, 7 a.m.–7 a.m.; 15–20-minute response required
Call volume: Approximately 0–3 patients; clinic volume TBD
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Patients: Adults ages 18+
Rounding: Assigned and unassigned patients
Support: Office staff
EMR: Athena / Cerner
Credentialing: Approximately 120–180 days
Clinical Details
Adult otolaryngology clinical coverage and call
Preferred: General surgical and nonsurgical ENT
Preferred: Septal and sinus endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and laryngoscopy
Preferred: Tracheotomy, thyroidectomy, and extended parotidectomy
Preferred: General and complex head and neck surgery, including radical neck surgery
Preferred: Facial surgery and reconstruction
Requirements
BC in Otolaryngology
Fellowship required
Active California license required
BLS required
Documentation of at least 50 cases within the past 24 months
Availability for complete coverage blocks
