Locums | Otolaryngology (ENT) | Turlock, CA (Active CA license required) Why This Role

  • ENT Clinic + Call opportunity
  • Ongoing coverage through June 2027
  • Approximately 3 coverage blocks/month
  • Inpatient and outpatient practice
  • Temporary privileges available
Assignment Details Start/end: December 1, 2026 – June 1, 2027 Schedule: Approximately 3 coverage blocks/month; exact dates TBD Clinic/hospital hours: 8a–5p Call schedule: Friday–Sunday, 24-hour beeper call Call hours: 7a–7a Coverage requirement: Must cover the full requested block; no partial coverage Coverage type: Clinic + Call Setting: Inpatient and outpatient Patient population: Adults ages 18+ Call response time: 15–20 minutes Call volume: Approximately 0–3 patients seen while on call Responsibilities: Clinic, inpatient rounding, admissions, and call Rounding: Assigned and unassigned patients Support: Office staff EMR: Athena and Cerner Credentialing: 120–180 days; temporary privileges available Clinical Details General Otolaryngology care Inpatient and outpatient ENT evaluations Hospital rounding and admissions Beeper call for assigned and unassigned patients Preferred: General ENT surgical and nonsurgical procedures Preferred: Endoscopic sinus and septal procedures Preferred: Flexible and rigid laryngoscopy Preferred: Bronchoscopy and tracheotomy Preferred: Thyroidectomy and parotidectomy Preferred: General and complex head and neck surgery Preferred: Facial reconstruction and related procedures Requirements Board Certified in Otolaryngology Active California medical license required; IMLC not accepted Completed fellowship required Minimum 50 case logs within the past 24 months BLS required; additional certification requirements pending confirmation Experience with inpatient and outpatient ENT care Ability to respond to call within 15–20 minutes Must be available for the entire requested coverage block Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
