Take advantage of an exceptional surgical specialty opportunity in central Vermont. A premier regional medical center in Rutland is expanding its surgical service line and seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Otolaryngologist / Head and Neck Surgeon (MD/DO) for a full-time, permanent position.

Designed for ENT surgeons seeking a strong surgical footprint paired with practice stability, this position offers an ideal clinical balance: dedicated block operating room time, an established referral base, robust Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support, and a complete financial incentive package including sign-on bonus and educational loan repayment.

The Practice Experience

Join a well-supported, hospital-employed specialty practice providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for head and neck conditions across central Vermont.

  • Clinical Scope: Deliver broad-spectrum adult and pediatric otolaryngology care across inpatient and outpatient clinical settings:

    • Manage comprehensive outpatient clinic sessions, diagnostic workups, endoscopic procedures, and surgical evaluations

    • Perform general ENT surgeries, sinus/rhinologic interventions, otologic procedures, thyroid/parathyroid surgeries, and benign/malignant head and neck operations

    • Practice between a primary hospital-campus office and a modern satellite clinic located less than 30 miles away

    • Work alongside an experienced team of three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who assist with patient triaging, routine follow-ups, and clinical workflow

  • Operating Room Efficiency: Benefit from fixed, dedicated block OR time at the regional hospital campus.

  • Call Coverage Structure: Manageable emergency department and office call rotation (supported by a high-volume ED seeing 32,000+ annual patient visits).

  • Executive Financial Package: Highly competitive starting base salary, generous benefits package, sign-on bonus, full relocation assistance, and educational loan repayment support.

  • Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology (ABOHNS).

  • Experience Level: Both experienced physicians and new residency graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
