- Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable
- Perform diagnostic hearing evaluations, including pure-tone air and bone conduction testing, speech audiometry, and impedance audiometry.
- Evaluate patients ranging from birth through senior age.
- Interpret hearing test results for patients and physicians.
- Recommend appropriate medical follow-up, hearing aids, hearing protection, and related care.
- Conduct hearing aid evaluations to determine appropriate amplification solutions.
- Fit hearing aids and provide detailed instruction on their operation and maintenance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot hearing aids purchased through the office.
Required:
- Successful completion of a master’s or doctoral audiology program that includes clinical practicum experience.
- For master’s degree holders, a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology.
- AuD from a board-approved institution, which satisfies the professional work experience requirement.
- Current BLS Certification.
Preferred:
- Active Washington state Audiology license.
