Seeking a Locum Otolaryngology (ENT) Physician to provide clinic & surgical coverage in Ephrata, PA.
• • • Assignment starts November 2, 2026
• • • Coverage available through April 30, 2027
• • • Approximately 5 OR days & 7 clinic days per month
• • • Clinic volume approximately 26–27 patients per day
• • • Approximately 6 surgeries per OR day
• • • 24 hour call coverage required during designated periods
• • • Adult & pediatric ENT care
• • • Epic EMR
• • • Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
Job Responsibilities
• • • Evaluate & treat patients across all age groups
• • • Conduct outpatient ENT clinic visits
• • • Perform general ENT surgical procedures
• • • Manage preoperative & postoperative patients
• • • Participate in scheduled OR coverage
• • • Provide 24 hour call coverage as assigned
• • • Respond to callback cases when required
• • • Collaborate with medical assistants & clinical support staff
• • • Provide appropriate follow up & continuity of care
• • • Document patient care in Epic
Qualifications
• • • Board Certified or Board Eligible in ENT
• • • Active Pennsylvania medical license required
• • • IMLC accepted
• • • DEA required
• • • ACLS certification required
• • • Minimum 1 year of experience
• • • General ENT experience required
• • • Experience with parathyroid procedures preferred
• • • Cochlear™ Baha experience preferred
• • • Comfortable treating infants, children, adolescents, adults & geriatric patients
Working Hours
• • • 30 minute lunch
• • • OR hours approximately 7:30 AM–3:30/4:00 PM
• • • Approximately 5 OR days per month
• • • Approximately 7 clinic days per month
• • • 24 hour call coverage as scheduled
• • • Specific call coverage: December 23, 2026 at 7:00 AM through December 29, 2026 at 7:00 AM
• • • Assignment approval through April 30, 2027
