Job description
We are seeking an Otolaryngologist for a locum tenens position in Turlock, California. This opportunity includes both inpatient and outpatient coverage with weekend call responsibilities. Please see below for more information.
- Not a designated trauma center
- EMR: Athena / Cerner
Job Responsibilities
Perform otolaryngology surgical and procedural services
Admit patients as clinically indicated
Round on both assigned and unassigned patients
Provide call coverage for both assigned and unassigned patients
Provide documented surgical case logs from the previous 24 months (minimum 50 cases) in support of facility privileging
Document all clinical care in Athena and Cerner
Qualifications
Fellowship training required
Active California medical license required (IMLC not accepted)
ABLS certification required
ACLS certification required
ATLS certification required
BLS certification required
PALS certification required
Working Hours
24-hour call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Call coverage includes both assigned and unassigned patients
Call response time: 15-20 minutes
Average patients seen while on call: 0-3
