Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Otolaryngologist (ENT) for a locum tenens call-coverage position at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, California. This is a short, weekend-focused assignment covering inpatient and outpatient ENT. Please see below for more information.
- Practice setting: acute care hospital, inpatient and outpatient
- Coverage dates: specific weekend assignment (provider must be available for the entire assignment)
- Schedule: clinical hours 8:00a - 5:00p; coverage Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Call: 24-hour call (7:00a to 7:00a) Friday/Saturday/Sunday for assigned and unassigned patients; 15-20 minute response time; average 0-3 patients while on call
- Patient population: adults (18+); admissions and rounding required
Job Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour call (Friday-Sunday) for assigned and unassigned adult patients, with a 15-20 minute response time.
Perform admissions and rounding.
Manage approximately 0-3 patients while on call.
Qualifications
Active California license required.
Minimum 50 case logs within the past 24 months.
Availability for the entire assignment (partial coverage not considered).
