## Otolaryngologist opening | Ocala, FL North-Central Florida — 40 Miles from Gainesville, 80 Miles from Orlando ## Position Details * Full-time, permanent employed position * Schedule: On/off monthly schedule shared with one other dedicated otolaryngologist * Setting: Inpatient/outpatient mix — hospital-based trauma and emergent/acute ENT; adult patients only ## Practice Overview Seeking a BC/BE Otolaryngologist comfortable with traumatic ENT procedures to join an existing practice at a Level I Trauma Center in north-central Florida: * Focus on trauma and emergent/acute ear, nose, and throat procedures * Manage inpatient consults, round on patients, and manage follow-up clinic * Must be comfortable with traumatic ENT procedures including repair of external ears, assisting in complex facial trauma with ophthalmologists, neurosurgeons, and/or plastic surgeons, and laryngotracheal injuries * Adult patients only in the hospital setting * Share the month with another dedicated otolaryngologist in an on/off schedule * Employed through a large national health system ## Compensation & Benefits * Competitive salary with wRVU capabilities * Comprehensive and flexible benefits package * CME allowance * Occurrence-based malpractice insurance * Strong support system ## Required Qualifications * MD or DO — Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology * Comfortable with traumatic ENT procedures — required * Relevant experience — preferred * Florida medical license or willingness to obtain ## About the Community – Ocala, Florida * Charming north-central Florida city known as the "Horse Capital of the World" * Affordable cost of living with excellent schools and family-friendly communities * Abundant outdoor recreation including Silver Springs State Park, Ocala National Forest, and world-class equestrian activities * 40 miles from Gainesville and the University of Florida * 80 miles from Orlando — easy access to theme parks, international airport, and metropolitan amenities * Warm, sunny Florida climate with year-round outdoor activities * No state income tax in Florida
