A healthcare organization in Rutland is seeking a Board-Eligible, Board-Certifiable, or Board-Certified Otolaryngologist to join a collaborative medical team providing comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care. This opportunity offers a balanced practice with both outpatient and surgical responsibilities in a supportive healthcare environment.

Position Overview

The Otolaryngologist will diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. The physician will work closely with primary care providers and other specialists to provide patient-centered care and, when necessary, surgical treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures
  • Perform surgical procedures related to ENT conditions
  • Conduct patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
  • Develop treatment plans and provide follow-up care
  • Educate patients on treatment options and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

Requirements

General Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in otolaryngology
  • Eligible for or able to obtain a Vermont medical license
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills
  • Excellent communication and patient care abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
