This well-established Ear, Nose and Throat clinic is part of a respected healthcare system in Northern Colorado. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment, a supportive staff including an RN, two Medical Assistants, three Front Desk staff, and a surgical coordinator, creating an excellent practice environment for otolaryngology specialists.
Opportunity: Board Certified - Otolaryngology
This is an excellent locum tenens opportunity for an Otolaryngologist to join a well-established practice providing weekend coverage. The position offers a balanced practice with both surgical and non-surgical cases in a supportive clinical setting with state-of-the-art resources.
Job Details:
- Weekend practice call coverage (Friday 7am - Monday 7am), approximately 2 weekends per month
- Patient mix: 95% Adult, 5% Pediatric
- Practice setting: 75% Office/Clinic, 25% Hospital
- Case mix: 50% Non-surgical, 50% Surgical
- Average of 18 scheduled patients per day with 2-3 add-ons
- Approximately 7 surgeries per week
- Hospital responsibilities include 0-3 patients daily with minimal admissions
- Will work alongside 1 physician and 1 mid-level provider
- EPIC EMR system used in both office and hospital settings
- Required procedures include general otolaryngology (surgical and non-surgical), endoscopic procedures, laryngoscopy, and tracheotomy
- Should be comfortable managing all general ENT post-op care including sinus, otologic, endocrine, and head/neck
- Facial reconstruction experience preferred
- Board Certification in Otolaryngology required (or board eligible within 2 years of residency)
- Active Colorado license or IMLC required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Local provider strongly preferred
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Comprehensive travel benefits include flight reimbursement (up to $750), lodging (up to $150 per night), and car rental or mileage reimbursement.
