Job description
ATC Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Neuroendovascular Surgeon (Interventional Neurologist) to provide ongoing locum coverage. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a busy Level I Trauma Center with a well-established stroke program, advanced neurointerventional capabilities, and the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Opportunity Highlights
- Location: Youngstown, Ohio
- Practice Setting: Inpatient, hospital-based Level I Trauma Center
- Coverage Need: Ongoing, one week per month with the opportunity for recurring assignments
- Schedule: 7-on/7-off, covering 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with shared 24-hour neuroendovascular and stroke call responsibilities
- Patient Volume: Approximately 10–12 inpatient patients daily, plus new stroke consults and emergent neurointerventional cases
- Procedures:
- Mechanical thrombectomy
- Neuroendovascular interventions
- Emergency stroke evaluation and treatment
- Comprehensive neuroendovascular call coverage
- Call: 24/7 coverage while on service, including a combination of in-house and beeper call
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: Collaborative stroke team within a comprehensive neuroscience program serving multiple regional stroke centers
Qualifications
- Board Certified Interventional Neurologist/Neuroendovascular Surgeon
- Active Ohio medical license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of post-training experience
- Clean malpractice and licensing history
