Locum - Physician - Surgery - Cardiothoracic Opportunity in Lima, OH!

ATC Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for an ongoing hospital-based locum opportunity in Lima, Ohio. Opportunity Highlights

• Location: Lima, Ohio
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based inpatient rounding and 24-hour call coverage
• Coverage: Ongoing future coverage with approximately 10-14 call days per month
• Coverage Dates: To be determined
• Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
• Patient Population: Adult
• Average Surgical Volume: Approximately 1 case per day
• Trauma Designation: Level II Trauma Center
• Operating Rooms: 20
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: Experienced team including 3 dedicated Physician Assistants
• Credentialing: Approximately 30 days, with emergency privileges considered for qualified candidates
  

Required Surgical Expertise

Candidates must be comfortable performing a full spectrum of adult cardiothoracic procedures, including:

• Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
• Arterial revascularization
• Redo coronary revascularization (with or without valve surgery)
• Heart valve repair and replacement
• Mitral valve repair
• Pericardial window procedures

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Active Ohio medical license
• Fellowship training required
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Epic experience preferred
