A Level II Trauma Center in Kearney, NE is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for locums coverage of the dates listed below.
Travel, lodging, rental, and malpractice coverage provided.
Coverage Dates: December 23, 2026 – January 3, 2027
Schedule: 7:00am-7:00am trauma call
Partial availability accepted, no outpatient clinic responsibilities.
Compensation:
Tier1
24-hr call: $2,560 (4 hrs gratis)
Call back $344/hr
Tier 2
24-hr call: $2,800 (4 hrs gratis)
Callback $380/hr
Additional details:
Setting: Inpatient/ED
Duties: Ortho Level 2 trauma call; surgical cases as needed
Required Procedures: general orthopedic care, fracture care
EMR: EPIC
Support Staff: ED and OR staff available 24/7
Patients/case volume: 1-2
Hospitalists will handle admissions

NE License [HIGHLY PREFERRED] or IMLC [REQUIRED]
ATLS [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
DEA [REQUIRED]
