Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity in Nebraska.
The facility needs orthopedic call coverage from December 23 through January 3. Providers do not need to cover the entire block, as the facility is open to utilizing multiple physicians to fill the schedule.
Coverage & Clinical Responsibilities
Provide Level II trauma orthopedic call coverage.
Handle general orthopedic care and fracture management.
Perform surgical cases as needed.
Average patient volume: 1–2 patients per day.
Hospitalists are responsible for patient admissions.
Work alongside dedicated ED and OR support staff.

Setting: Inpatient / Emergency Department
EMR: Epic
Call Schedule: 24/7 coverage, 7 AM – 7 AM
Trauma Level: Level II
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
Completion of an Orthopedic Surgery Residency.
Active Nebraska license preferred, or IMLC required.
DEA required.
ATLS highly preferred.
Clean malpractice history preferred.
Availability confirmation required at the time of submission.
