Schedule
- Call: 10–11 days per month
- Call Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24 hours)
- Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Clinic Days: Monday and Wednesday (flexible)
- OR Days: Tuesday and Thursday (flexible)
- Non-call days consist of outpatient clinic and scheduled OR cases.
- 3 weeks per month needed
Clinical Responsibilities
-
Full-scope general orthopedic surgery, including trauma and elective procedures
-
Musculoskeletal trauma management at a Level II Trauma Center
-
Emergency department consultations and emergent surgical procedures
-
Inpatient rounding and postoperative care
-
Outpatient evaluations, injections, procedures, and follow-up appointments
-
Management of new and established orthopedic patients
Qualifications
-
Experienced, full-scope Orthopedic Surgeon
-
Orthopedic trauma experience strongly preferred
-
Active AHA BLS certification
-
Minimum of 50 orthopedic surgical cases performed within the past 12 months
-
Proctoring required for the first five surgical cases

Clinical Support: APPs available in clinic based on patient volume

Credentialing: Approximately 30 days, with applications prioritized based on start date
