Ongoing clinical and call coverage
No APP or teaching supervision
Assignment Details
ASAP start; ongoing
Scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call; clinical schedule and call frequency to be confirmed
15-minute call response required; phone consults included
Inpatient and outpatient coverage, including admissions and rounding on assigned and unassigned patients
Approximately 5–7 patients per shift; call admissions listed as 6 or fewer
Level IV trauma setting; 12 department beds
Support: 1 RN, 1 MA, and 1 office staff member
EMR: Athena/Medhost
Credentialing: estimated 5–7 days
Clinical Details
Required: arthroscopy; total joint replacement of hip, knee, and other joints
Required: joint revision or repair of shoulder, hip, knee, and other joints
Preferred: hand surgery, tendon release/repair, and peripheral nerve surgery
Preferred: cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery with or without instrumentation; percutaneous disc surgery
No APP or resident/teaching supervision required
Requirements
Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery required
Active AZ license or IMLC; acceptance to be confirmed
Active DEA required
