Job Responsibilities
Review past orthopedic history, examine the current status of the patient, with orthopedic problems.
Accurate and timely completion of all clinical notes.
Evaluate new patient referrals to the clinic.
All diagnosis and treatment with follow-up will be consistent with the guidelines of the Orthopedic Clinic, clinical privileges and standard of care within the community.
Participate in a team approach to patient care with medical staff, ancillary staff, residents, students and other services, patients and family members.
Perform clinic-based procedures, adhering to the ethical principles of an orthopedic surgeon, and a medical professional as a whole.
Appropriately assist with the Resident Training Program.
Maintain all medical education requirements as outlined by the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Other duties as assigned.
