Rural Physicians Group (RPG) is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to join our team at SageWest Healthcare in Riverton and Lander, WY, who is passionate about rural medicine, is looking to make a difference in medically-underserved communities, and wants to enjoy (a flexible schedule with) more autonomy.

This 1099 independent contractor position offers an annualized compensation of $750,000 ($4000 per day plus a $100 per day travel stipend) malpractice paid, accommodations provided and full support of our Joint-Commission-accredited medical staff.
Job Responsibilities
Incoming surgeon will offset coverage being provided by two other orthopedists who cover 15 days per month. There are an average of 14 ED no-in person calls per week and 5 calls needing direct patient contact.
Facilities have inpatient medicine, OB/GYN along with ancillary services in RT, PT/OT/ST and Lab. Imaging also is onsite.
