Job description Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, North Carolina is seeking a board-certified orthopedic surgeon for sole-coverage 24-hour call from October 13, 7am through October 16, 7am. $350/hr. Hospital-owned apartment provided onsite at no cost. This role fills on a single yes from the right surgeon who already holds an active NC license with NC DEA and active Medicaid/Medicare credentialing and PECOS enrollment. All four must be in place at submission. If you have them, this is worth two minutes.

Job Responsibilities

24-hour call coverage. 0-3 consults per day. 0-2 ED visits for closed reductions and admissions. 0-2 surgeries per day including wrist, ankle, and hip fractures plus I&D. Long bone trauma is stabilized and transferred. Must remain within 20 minutes of the hospital at all times while on call. 4 hours gratis included.

Qualifications

Board certified orthopedic surgeon. Active NC medical license required. NC DEA with NC address required. Active Medicaid/Medicare credentialing and PECOS enrollment required at submission. No exceptions on any of these four. Vaccinated provider required. Meditech EMR. NPI number required in bid.

Working Hours

October 13, 7am through October 16, 7am. 24-hour call structure, 3 consecutive days. $350/hr. Travel capped at $500. Onsite apartment provided at no cost.
