A growing Texas-based orthopedic care organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Extremity Surgeon to join its expanding team in the Houston Metro Area.

This opportunity is ideal for a surgeon who enjoys a procedure-focused environment, values clinical autonomy, and is passionate about helping patients recover from acute musculoskeletal injuries through timely and effective orthopedic care.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in upper and lower extremity injuries and experience evaluating, diagnosing, and treating injury-related orthopedic conditions through both surgical and non-surgical approaches.

The physician will work within a coordinated care model designed to provide efficient evaluations, clear treatment pathways, and exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute orthopedic injuries involving upper and lower extremities.
Manage injury-related orthopedic cases with a focus on procedural and surgical treatment.
Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing surgical and non-surgical approaches.
Perform extremity-focused orthopedic procedures with precision and efficiency.
Provide expert clinical guidance throughout the patient care journey.
Collaborate with clinical teams and healthcare partners to ensure coordinated care.
Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and care stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Stay current with orthopedic advancements, techniques, and evidence-based practices.
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic extremity procedures.
Experience evaluating and managing acute injury cases.
Strong surgical and procedural skills.
Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.

Working Hours

Schedule: Full-Time Physician Schedule
Practice Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic Care
Call Schedule: No traditional hospital call responsibilities (practice-based)
