Job description
This is a replacement position due to a physician retirement. The incoming orthopedic surgeon will join an established practice consisting of one orthopedic surgeon and one physician assistant. There is an existing Foot & Ankle orthopedic surgeon who primarily sees pediatric patients, creating an opportunity for a physician comfortable treating a broad range of adult orthopedic conditions.
Candidates with subspecialty training are welcome, provided they are comfortable practicing general orthopedics.
The ideal physician will:

● Thrive in a collaborative, small-town environment
J-1 and H-1B visa candidates will be considered.
New graduates are encouraged to apply as long as they are confident managing a general orthopedic practice.

Job Responsibilities
● Approximately a 40% surgical / 60% clinic practice
● Dedicated block OR time available
● Minimal surgical backlog, with many referrals currently being sent outside the health system
● 35-40 patients Mon and Wed,20-25 Friday afternoon OR is Tuesday and Thursday they have a dedicated PA who helps with volume
Working Hours
● Shared equally among orthopedic physicians
● Call compensation is included within the compensation package
● No dedicated orthopedic trauma service
● No trauma call requirement
● APP support available during call
