• Seeking a Locum Orthopedic Surgeon for inpatient & outpatient orthopedic coverage
• Position includes hospital rounding, admissions, clinic care, and orthopedic trauma services
• Provider will work independently in a solo practice environment
• Average hospital census is approximately 2 patients per day
• Average clinic volume is approximately 12–20 patients per day
• Patient population includes adults & pediatric patients
• Hospital has approximately 21 beds
• EPIC EMR is required, with recent experience within the last 6 months
• Position includes hospital rounding, admissions, clinic care, and orthopedic trauma services

Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat orthopedic trauma patients
• Perform inpatient rounding & admissions
• Provide orthopedic clinic services
• Manage adult & pediatric orthopedic patients
• Perform appropriate orthopedic procedures based on clinical privileges
• Evaluate acute orthopedic injuries and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with hospital and clinic staff as needed
• Provide night & weekend call coverage
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active Oregon medical license required at time of presentation
• BLS certification required
• Recent orthopedic trauma experience
• Documentation of at least 100 relevant clinical patients within the previous 24 months
• Recent EPIC experience required within the last 6 months
• Ability to work independently
• Clean professional file preferred
Working Hours
• 8 hour clinical shifts
• Night call required
• Weekend call required
• Provider will cover clinic & hospital responsibilities
• Initial working period begins 09/18/2026 following orientation
• Call coverage extends through the assigned coverage period
