Orthopedic Extremity Surgeon Opportunity – Texas
A growing Texas-based orthopedic care organization is seeking a skilled Orthopedic Extremity Surgeon to join its physician-led team. This opportunity is ideal for a surgeon who enjoys a procedure-focused environment, clinical autonomy, and providing high-quality care for acute musculoskeletal injuries.
The physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat upper and lower extremity orthopedic conditions while developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate both surgical and non-surgical approaches.
This role offers the opportunity to practice with strong operational support while focusing on patient care, surgical outcomes, and restoring patient function.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform extremity-focused orthopedic procedures when appropriate
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on patient needs
• Provide surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care
• Collaborate with clinical teams and healthcare partners
• Guide patients throughout their treatment journey
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and compliance standards
• Deliver exceptional patient-centered orthopedic care
Qualifications
• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain
• Experience managing orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions
• Strong procedural and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
• Fellowship training in extremity, trauma, hand, foot & ankle, or sports medicine
• Experience with acute injury cases
• Outpatient orthopedic practice experience
• High-volume procedural background
