Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum tenens call-coverage position at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. This is a hospital-based, call-only role. Please see below for more information.
- Practice setting: acute care hospital, inpatient (11 OR rooms)
- Coverage: call-only, 24-hour on-call; ongoing
- Volume: approximately 10 patients per day
- Support: 2 RNs
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage approximately 10 patients per day.
Respond to consults and provide inpatient orthopedic surgical care.
Document care in Cerner EMR.
Qualifications
Active Missouri license required.
DEA required; BLS and ACLS required.
Ability to provide 24-hour on-call coverage.
