This regional medical center serves as a vital healthcare resource for the surrounding eastern Kentucky community. The facility features a 99-bed department and holds a Level 4 trauma designation, providing essential medical services to patients across the region.Opportunity:
Physician - Orthopaedic SurgeryJob Details:
- Provide comprehensive orthopaedic surgery services with approximately 25 patient encounters per shift
- Perform arthroscopy procedures as a required core competency
- Perform total joint replacement surgeries including hip and knee procedures
- Board certification required with emergency privileges available and full credentialing completed within 30 days
- Must hold an active Kentucky license or IMLC licensure to be considered
- BLS certification required
- Level 4 trauma facility
- Locum tenens engagement beginning 7/16/2026 on an ongoing basis
- Nearest airport is Lexington, KY
