Rate: Bid Bill Rate
Schedule:
Scheduled clinical hours plus call
3 clinic days and 2 OR days per week (based on volume)
M-F
Call Details:
Beeper call for assigned patients
Minimal callback volume
Coverage Needs:
Start date: May 5, 2026
Ongoing coverage
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship preferred, not required
- Active New Mexico license or IMLC required
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS required
- Temporary privileges available
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days
Facility Details:
- Trauma Level III
- 99 Beds
- EMR: Medhost
- Inpatient and outpatient setting
Support Staff:
- 2 RNs, 2 MAs, 2 APPs, 2 office staff
- No supervision required
Volume:
- Clinic: 20–25 patients per day
- OR/procedural volume based on need
- Average 3 phone consults per night
Case Mix:
All procedures are listed under the 'preferred' tab, not required
- General orthopedic procedures
- Arthroscopy
- Total joint replacement (hip and knee)
- Shoulder procedures
- Bread and butter orthopedic cases
Additional Notes:
- Admissions handled by hospitalist team
- Full clinic staff and anesthesia support available
- Call is low intensity with minimal callback
