Orthopedic Surgery Opportunity – Rural Community Practice
Location: Moab, Utah
Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient, Surgical, Emergency Care
Employment Type: Full-Time, Employed

Clinical Responsibilities
* Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic consultations and follow-up care
* Diagnose and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including
* Fractures
* Degenerative joint disease
* Sports injuries
* Trauma
* Perform general orthopedic procedures including
* Joint replacement
* Fracture fixation
* Ligament and tendon repair
* Provide emergency orthopedic coverage in collaboration with ED and trauma teams
* Deliver post-operative care, rehabilitation guidance, and longitudinal management
* Participate in on-call coverage for emergency services
Rural Practice Scope
* Deliver comprehensive general orthopedic care in a rural setting
* Manage diverse and urgent cases with independence and adaptability
* Participate in development and expansion of orthopedic service lines
* Support and mentor advanced practice providers and clinical staff
* Participate in outreach clinics as needed
Team & Community Engagement
* Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals
* Build strong relationships with patients, families, and referring providers
* Participate in community outreach and education initiatives
* Serve as a local orthopedic ambassador

Qualifications
* MD or DO
* Completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency
* Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
* Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Utah
