Facility:
This facility is a Level II Trauma center providing comprehensive orthopedic services to the community. The hospital offers excellent support staff, modern technology including EPIC EMR, and a collaborative environment with dedicated PA support for orthopedic surgeons.
Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - Orthopedic
Job Details:
• 1 Orthopedic Surgeon position covering approximately 2 weeks per month • 6-9 month assignment with ongoing coverage needs • Covering the ER 24/7 with dedicated PA support • 3 days of outpatient clinic (three mornings each week, Monday-Friday) • Full spectrum of orthopedic cases excluding complex pelvic issues • Patient load varies from 0-7 cases per day • Must have 5 years of Level II trauma experience • Fellowship trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon required • Board Certification required • Washington state license highly preferred (or IMLC with Letter of Qualification) • BLS and DEA certifications required (will consider candidates who will obtain upon acceptance) • Clean malpractice history highly preferred • EPIC EMR system in use at the facility • Hospital support and medical assistants available in outpatient clinic • 60-90 day credentialing timeframe
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
