Facility:
This 72-bed community hospital features a level 3 trauma center providing essential healthcare services to the local population. The facility utilizes Cerner EMR system and offers comprehensive orthopedic services with full OR support staff.
Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - Orthopedic
Job Details:
• Provide 24/7 coverage of ED and inpatient orthopedic consultations • Full general orthopedic coverage required (higher level patients are transferred) • 24-hour call responsibilities including weekends • Must have current active practice experience (not directly out of residency) • Must have clean malpractice history • Board Certified or Board Eligible status required • California medical license and fluoroscopy certificate required • DEA required during credentialing • Completion of an ACGME or AOA approved residency • Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation required • Cerner EMR system experience beneficial • Schedule currently needed for Feb 13-15 (ending 16th am) • Accommodations at preferred hotels including Holiday Inn • Travel to facility requires flying into Sacramento airport with 2-hour drive up Interstate 5 • Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days but can be expedited
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
